The Faculty of History has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our HR team as HR Administrator. You will be part of our friendly and supportive professional services team, supporting a wide variety of human resource processes within the Faculty.
We are looking for a flexible, resourceful individual who has excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. Recent experience in a fast-paced administrative role is essential. Experience of HR administration and University HR systems would be desirable but training can be given. More important is the ability to learn new skills and develop a knowledge of University/Departmental policies and processes in order to be able to respond to HR related queries as required.
You will be organised and be able to prioritise your own workload, manage tight deadlines, and work independently using your own initiative, but you will know when to refer matters to others. We are looking for someone who will be able to contribute actively as a member of a team, and will build positive working relationships within the Department and University.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with excellent administrative experience to develop new skills in a varied and busy position and to excel in this role.
