Richmond American University London is now seeking a passionate and experienced MBA Programme Director and Associate Professor of Business Management to join a dynamic team within the Richmond Business School, and to contribute to our mission of educating future generations of business leaders.
The MBA Programme Director will oversee the academic leadership and curriculum development of the programme to ensure provision of high quality courses and outstanding student experience, and to create inspiring courses and teaching materials to the evolving business landscape and student career goals.
The MBA Programme Director will be teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students and providing them with academic and professional development opportunities; conduct and publish original research in business management, or related areas, contributing to scholarship and industry practice; and connect with the local and global business community to enhance the University’s public engagement.
The MBA Programme Director is expected to maintain an academic portfolio in accordance with their academic rank and teach two research-informed courses a year within the relevant discipline.
The successful candidate will be educated to postgraduate level (or equivalent) and PhD (completed or near completion) or equivalent industry/professional experience. They will have excellent presentation skills and demonstrable experience of delivering high quality teaching with the ability to engage students, colleagues and external audiences; highly developed oral and written communication skills; and proven ability to manage own teaching and related administrative duties.
