The Head of Student Experience and Support Services plays a critical role in contributing to the success, retention, progression, and satisfaction of students at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Reporting to the Academic Registrar and Director of Academic Services, the role holder will be responsible for the leadership and strategic and operational development of Central’s Student Centre (comprising student advice, the Disability Service and the Counselling Service) and aligned institutional procedures (particularly relating to student welfare and wellbeing). They will also work with colleagues across the Academic Registry to support a joined-up and integrated approach to the delivery of Central’s student and academic services and processes.
The role holder will possess substantial experience in the delivery and enhancement of similar student services in a higher education setting, a strong understanding of current issues relating to student wellbeing, and a demonstrable commitment to supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
