Job Title: Associate Director Careers, Employability and Enterprise

Permanent, full-time, 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE)

Band 8 - £59,139 to £68,529 per annum

About the Post

The role will support the Pro Vice-Chancellor for Commercial and Academic Partnerships in implementing the strategy, with a focus on student and graduate employability. You will lead school action plans, ensuring that employability, experiential learning, work experience, and entrepreneurship opportunities are embedded in the curriculum and respond to key employability metrics and measures of success (e.g., TEF, Graduate Outcomes, Leo, B3).

About the Team

The Directorate of Business Engagement, Careers and Employability has a broad reach across the region, nationally, and internationally. The directorate combines Business Engagement, Academic Partnerships, Careers, Employability and Enterprise, and Higher and Degree Apprenticeships. We work collaboratively to identify and build effective relationships, both internally and externally, all for the benefit of our students, graduates and the university.

About You

You will be an experienced leader in higher education, with substantive experience and a background in student and graduate employability. You will understand the internal and external context within the university and higher education, with a demonstrable positive impact on students, graduates, and the university.
