About the role
Intellectual Property Strategy Officer is a role in a successful team supporting the commercialisation of Imperial’s inventions and new technologies. You would join us in our efforts to encourage and facilitate researchers in “making a difference” by finding solutions to real-world challenges.
Imperial is a leader in technology transfer and has a mature and sophisticated profit-sharing scheme in its incentives for encouraging academic innovation. You will be an integral member of Imperial’s Enterprise Division, and will work as a key service provider for supporting Imperial’s intellectual property policies and services. Come and join the Intellectual Property Strategy Team and play a role in running the services which enhance the university’s beneficial impact on society whilst also navigating the Government’s research security regimes designed to ensure the safe dissemination of university ideas, technologies and inventions on the global stage.
What you would be doing
What we are looking for
This post requires a range of skills and aptitudes including diligence and determination to see projects through. You will need to demonstrate experience and ability in competencies including relationship management and project management. Ideally, you will have worked in an HEI, research or Industry setting and have an understanding of research security.
