Abertay is a modern university with a global outlook, rooted in its local and national communities. We have made our mark with high quality, well-directed teaching and research, and a stimulating and enriching experience for our students.
The University now seeks to appoint a Head of Admissions and UK Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage the University’s admissions service and to drive forward our UK recruitment strategy.
You will lead the Admissions and UK Recruitment teams within the Strategy, Governance and External Relations Service. Reporting to the Vice-Principal and University Secretary, and working closely with senior managers, you will be the lead officer for Admissions, providing advice and guidance on our policies and approach, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. You will work with colleagues in Marketing and in Faculties to develop and implement a strategy for UK recruitment, including widening access routes to Abertay.
The role requires a strong commitment to the University’s purpose and values, an understanding of the current student recruitment environment, a track record in delivering a highly effective service to applicants, and an ability to communicate effectively with internal and external colleagues.
If you believe you have the skills and experience for this exciting and challenging role, please submit your application through our online recruitment system, which can be found by clicking the 'Apply' button above.
