Are you passionate about the potential of fully online higher education?

Queen Margaret University (QMU) is seeking an Online Programmes & Partnership Manager to lead the operational development and expansion of QMU Online. This exciting initiative began in 2023 and has experienced rapid growth in student enrollment since its launch. As we continue to expand, we are building a dedicated team in this area of the university.

In this newly created role, you will be instrumental in improving our operational management of fully online degree programmes. As the Online Programmes & Partnership Manager, you will collaborate closely with various professional services teams, and HigherEd Partners (HEP), to enhance operational effectiveness. This collaboration will support our academics in delivering an exceptional student experience. You will lead the Online Programmes Support (OPS) team, playing a vital role in providing outstanding administrative support throughout the online student journey.

Given that this is a new area of delivery, processes and practices are still being developed and refined. You will, therefore, be expected to take a lead role in creating, implementing, and enhancing procedures that boost operational efficiency and ensure a seamless online experience for our students. As you become the go-to expert for all operational inquiries related to QMU Online, you will proactively address challenges and devise innovative solutions. You will report regularly to the Academic Lead for QMU Online and will be required to develop insightful performance reports and forecasts that support informed decision-making among senior leadership.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and strategic operational academic administrator who thrives in a collaborative environment. If you are passionate about education, possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and have a knack for engaging and influencing diverse stakeholders, we want to hear from you. You will need to balance operational priorities with strategic initiatives effectively, managing competing demands and formulating creative, practical solutions to any challenges that arise.

At QMU, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of online education in a supportive and innovative setting. Our commitment to collaboration and continuous improvement ensures that our students receive the best possible educational experience. If you are excited about being part of fast-developing initiatives and wish to contribute to the growth of QMU Online, we look forward to hearing from you.
