We are seeking an experienced professional who can proactively create opportunities for career-focused interactions between students and external parties (employers, alumni, parents, and friends of the university) to educate, inspire, and empower our students in achieving their career ambitions.
You would be expected to be willing to work across a wide range of occupational sectors and/or geographical areas but can expect to focus initially on our relationships in the UK and Europe.
Educated to degree level, you will have experience of the graduate labour market and be confident in your relationship management skills.
Through the relationships you develop with external organisations, you will aim to enhance the range of opportunities we can offer to our students such as events, internships, graduate jobs, and experiential learning.
You will have an interest in monitoring and analysing trends in the student and graduate recruitment landscape and a commitment to gathering and sharing insights with colleagues to support the development of the Careers Centre.
We can be flexible about the working pattern for this 0.5 FTE role and hybrid working arrangements are available. We are also open to reducing the role to 0.4 FTE.

This post will be based between 2 locations: the Eden Campus at Guardbridge, a state-of-the-art working environment for professional services units, and the Careers Centre at 6 St Mary’s Place, St Andrews. Hybrid working arrangements are available, with the expectation that you spend a minimum of 50% of your time on site.
