About the Role
The National Federated Compute Services (NFCS) NetworkPlus is a two-year UKRI/EPSRC funded programme which will build a community around national federated computational research services and develop roadmaps for future UKRI investment in this space. A key deliverable of the project is commissioning a series of flexible funding projects that will generate evidence to support the delivery of the roadmaps.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide technical leadership for the Programme. This will involve defining the flexible funding calls; the review, selection and oversight of projects; collation of outcomes; and preparation of the roadmaps. The postholder will also be a key member of the project lead team to support the successful delivery of all the objectives of the NFCS Network Plus.

This role is part time (17.5 - 28 hours per week) 0.5 – 0.8 FTE.
About You
You will have a good understanding of the UK’s digital research infrastructure (DRI) landscape, with the ability to understand the perspectives of both users and operators, having experience of delivery or using large-scale DRI in the UK or internationally.
A PhD in a STEM subject is desirable but of importance is the ability to build relationships across the programme team and wider stakeholder community, and to influence, engender and enable action in the DRI domain.
