We are looking for a HR Systems Support Officer to join our HR Systems team for 2 years, supporting with the implementation of the ServiceNow HRSD Platform and a new Staff Training Records System.
The HR Systems team provide essential support in running, maintaining and developing our HR and Payroll, eRecruit and Reporting systems. We also provide user support to a wide variety of system users and self-service customers. As a HR Systems Support Officer you will work closely with the team and staff within and external to HR and the University to help deliver the new ServiceNow and Totara training platform.
The role is a full time, fixed term position for 2 years. The typical starting salary for this role will be £36,130 (Grade 4, spinal point 28 on the University Level 1-6 pay scale), unless you have significant experience in a similar role, where we can then offer up to £44,128 (spinal point 35). Staff increment one spinal point each year, up to the top of the grade.
Your experience and skills
You will have a proven track record of working closely with designing and delivering HR related systems. Experience of problem solving and resolution for technical issues along with an excellent eye for detail and the ability to build great working relationships with internal and external suppliers. Good understanding and experience of training and HR operational processes is a must. You will have skills in understanding and improving HR related processes, and interpreting business needs into process design and system developments.
