The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is one of the world’s foremost social science universities, dedicated to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students. We pride ourselves on fostering a vibrant academic community where innovation and excellence go hand in hand with student wellbeing. In collaboration with the Student Wellbeing Service (SWS) and under the broader Educating for Global Impact Strategy, the Student Wellbeing Project Officer will support efforts to shape the wellbeing offer for our students.
A key aspect of the role is assisting with the development and implementation of the Student Mental Health and Wellbeing Framework, as well as supporting the application for the Student Minds Charter Award. Working under the supervision of the Student Wellbeing Project Manager, the postholder will help evaluate existing wellbeing provisions to identify areas for improvement. They will support monitoring and reviewing service standards, gathering feedback through stakeholder interviews, focus groups, and workshops, and assist with research activities such as surveys, literature reviews, and report writing.
Additionally, the Student Wellbeing Project Officer will assist with communication and marketing efforts by updating digital platforms like the SWS website as required. The postholder will work collaboratively with colleagues on innovative initiatives aimed at enhancing student wellbeing and will also provide routine administrative support as needed.
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive individual with a strong desire to learn and develop project coordination skills, along with a genuine passion for student wellbeing. Candidates will be eager to make a positive impact on student wellbeing in a supportive environment.
We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave, hybrid working, and excellent training and development opportunities.
