The Role
Gonville & Caius College is seeking an outstanding individual to join its Development & Alumni Relations team as an Engagement Assistant. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in exploring or developing a career in fundraising and alumni relations.
You will be the first point of contact for Caius alumni and friends, hands-on in organisation of our engagement programme, and the key to ensuring alumni and friends are supported in their ongoing relationship with the College.
As a person with excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, and with good attention to detail, you will be integral to the success of the development and alumni relations operations. You will work closely with the Engagement Manager and the rest of the team.
There is ample opportunity for professional development and getting involved in various facets of alumni relations and fundraising activities, depending on your interest.
The Engagement Assistant role is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week with option for flexible working. The ability and willingness to also adopt a flexible approach to working hours is desirable and you may be required to work additional hours from time to time to fulfil the requirements of the role and the needs of the College.
The annual full time salary for this role is in the region of £26,000.
