Working Pattern: Full Time, working 35 hours per week
The Department of Estates and Facilities Management (EFM) at the University of Sheffield is responsible for the management of the University's estate including managing property and facilities and developing new buildings.
This is an exciting opportunity for a competent landscape operative to work with the directly employed landscape service team on both new and existing landscape development and maintenance works. You will be a self-motivated and evidence experience of seasonal landscape activity and the care and upkeep of plants, trees and sustainable working practices. You will ensure the working day is maximised and support the department’s core objectives of delivering sustainable works, improving standards of maintenance, compliance and health and safety.
You will use your previous experience of team work to ensure a positive working culture is developed and maintained at all times. You will use your experience of health and safety to ensure compliance to both local and legislative policy and procedure.
