About the role
An enthusiastic and flexible individual is sought for a varied Hybrid 0.5FTE Institute/HR administrative role. The working hours would be spread across Wednesday (in office) Thursday (WFH) and Friday (either WFH or working from office), however we will ask the successful candidate to be flexible to work other timings.
The role is to provide administrative support to the Institute Manager (IM) with a range of tasks including supporting the IM in the role of Safety officer; being the first point of contact for security/access issues, administration & induction of new visitors and supporting with maintenance of the Institute website. The postholder will also report to the Senior HR Administrator (SHRA) and assist with Recruitment and induction of new staff as well assisting with contract changes administration.
The role also includes supporting other members of staff including academics. Such tasks will include short-term project work, arranging room bookings and servicing meetings. The post holder must be flexible as the role will involve moving around the different locations.
This role does not meet the eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa certificate of sponsorship under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. Therefore, UCL will not be able to sponsor individuals who require right to work in the UK to carry out this role.
