Social Work at UWE Bristol offers a suite of undergraduate and postgraduate social work programmes approved by Social Work England which are delivered across the South West. 

We form part of the interdisciplinary School of Health and Social Wellbeing; we’re focused on the delivery of high-quality teaching and an excellent student experience, coupled with outstanding research, all delivered with a strong emphasis on the application of academic understanding to contemporary social work practice.

Due to our continuing success, we are now seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Social Work academic team who will work predominantly on pre-registration and CPD education across the South West including Cornwall.

Working effectively with colleagues, you will contribute to a learning environment where students have the opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to attain the career to which they aspire and to carry out complementary research, knowledge exchange and professional practice.

This role will include travel across the South West for the delivery of the Step up programme and Continuous Professional Development contracts.

You’re creative, enthusiastic and innovative who is qualified to PG Dip/ Masters level and holds current registration with Social Work England.

This post is based at our Glenside Campus which is set within beautiful grounds in Stapleton, just three miles north east of Bristol City Centre.

This is a full time, permanent post working on a 1.0FTE contract.

This role is campus based however there may be the opportunity to work from home on occasion.
