Salary from £36,008 to £40,991 pa inclusive with potential to progress to  £43,854 pa inclusive of London allowance

LSE is the world’s leading social science institution, which attracts students from across the globe. The Residential and Catering Services Division (RCSD) plays a vital role in shaping the student experience by providing first-class, affordable accommodation and catering services that support and enhance our diverse community.

We’re excited to be opening our newest halls of residence, which will be home to around 676 students, and we are looking for a proactive, experienced and people-focused Operations Manager to join our team.

As Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the residence. You’ll be responsible for:

• Overseeing day to day operations
• Leading and managing a dedicated team
• Working closely with third-party facilities management to maintain high service standards
• Creating a welcoming, safe and supportive environment for students.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in a student halls environment and will possess excellent communication skills.  Above all you will need to demonstrate your commitment to working with students and to delivering a first-class service.
