ABOUT US
The University of Sunderland in London, based at Canary Wharf, boasts a vibrant and diverse community of staff and students. We consider ourselves as an innovative satellite campus and are constantly evolving and have exciting plans for 2025 and beyond!
We are currently piloting a four-day working week which allows our colleagues to work 32 hours over 4 days week with no reduction in pay. The pilot is part of our ongoing efforts to create a positive and inclusive workplace that promotes work-life balance and allows our colleagues to thrive professionally and personally whilst maintaining our commitment to delivering high-quality service to all our students.

We are looking for motivated individual to join our Marketing, Recruitment, and Admissions Department, which plays a crucial role in promoting the university’s brand, attracting a diverse range of students, and managing the admissions process. Our department brings together marketing, student recruitment, and admissions operations to provide a smooth and supportive journey for prospective students from their first point of contact to enrolment.
Our Admissions team is responsible for processing all student applications from the conditional offer stage through to the issuance of unconditional offer letters. Collaboration with our Student Recruitment team in London is also a crucial aspect of our work.
As part of our application journey, we meticulously follow set criteria to make informed decisions on student applications. We take pride in our dedication to assisting every applicant in the best possible way.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will support the delivery of a high-quality admission service, ensuring accurate and timely management of all admissions processes. You will play a key role in supporting students at a pivotal stage of their student journey.
To excel in this role, you will need to have experience within a customer focussed administrative environment. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interpret regulations and procedures accurately. Solid customer service skills are a must, along with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
