Call for Faculty Members and Project Researchers (Fixed-term Project Staff) at College of Design Planning and Coordination Office, The University of Tokyo

The University of Tokyo (UTokyo) is seeking talented design educators from around the world with a passion for defining and developing the next generation of design programme to join the UTokyo College of Design Development Team. For this role we are looking for emerging early career design scholars or practitioners; or for more established and experienced design educators. We are hoping to employ 3-5 new members in this call.
The successful candidate will have an energy and enthusiasm for design education development; a commitment to living in Japan and be able to work well across teams of people with different cultural backgrounds, professional experiences and approaches.

Job Description

UTokyo College of Design Development Team - The following work relates to the development of the College of Design (tentative name). Successful candidates will engage in one or more of the following tasks.

• Curriculum Development (design, interdisciplinary classes, extracurricular activities, etc.)
• Promotion (planning, marketing, communication, related activities)
• Other (space & facilities, admissions, and other work related to College of Design Planning and Coordination Office)

*Scope of change: The University may reassign employees to different positions, or assign them to additional positions.
