This is an exciting opportunity to join our talented Learning and Development Team within the Organisational Development & Change Directorate at Loughborough University. The team is responsible for delivering high-quality, innovative learning interventions that focus on the development of skills, knowledge and behaviours of staff, managers and leaders to underpin positive cultural change.
Our team of Learning and Development Advisers are responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of a comprehensive programme of creative development opportunities, events and resources all of which are delivered in a blended way that meets the needs of our colleagues.
Each Learning & Development Adviser is responsible for a range of key themes and projects (e.g. coaching, EDI, management) and contributes to a wide range of projects led by others in the team as part of a highly collaborative and agile working environment.
The roles support the development of creative learning resources (including online learning packages), organisational training needs analysis, bespoke facilitation for teams within the University outside of our standard programmes, and the co-ordination of the University’s key talent management and career development schemes.
Candidates will have experience of working in a learning and development role and the ability to provide pragmatic solutions and guidance on learning and development needs, design and delivery of training events, workshops, online learning development on a range of topics, and supporting high-level strategic projects. Candidates should have strong facilitation and communication skills to be able to engage large groups of people, coaching and mentoring experience, an in-depth understanding of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion that is embedded in their work and excellent digital skills to support our blended learning approach.
