This is a full time, permanent role, working 37 hours per week.

Day to day duties of the role

  • To manage delivery, co-ordination and development of maths courses to include GCSE, Functional Skills and vocational staff training.

  • To manage timetabling of the provision and allocate resources to ensure high standard tuition.
  • To support, motivate and develop staff who can deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment.

  • Co-ordination and delivery of CPD sessions and staff INSET.

Required skills and qualifications

  • A relevant degree / professional qualification
  • Relevant successful teaching experience in GCSE maths and Functional Skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies.
  • Computer literacy / ability to use data systems and analyse performance data
