As a Deputy Team Leader, you will ensure services and systems are designed, developed, and managed to the highest standards, while supporting your team’s growth and development.

About the Department

The IT Services department at the University of Oxford plays a key role in supporting the University's mission to deliver world-leading education, research, and services. Our Microsoft Platform Services Team is at the heart of the University's infrastructure, responsible for managing and developing a range of critical services and systems running primarily on a Microsoft-based platform. You will also be responsible for the development of technical strategies and roadmaps to ensure the future-proofing of services and systems, actively contributing your technical expertise to decision-making processes across the department and the wider University.
  • The role also offers opportunities for personal development, with the potential to deputise for the Team Leader and contribute to strategic projects across the University. You will play a pivotal part in ensuring that the Microsoft Platform Services team operates efficiently, securely, and with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
