Careers Consultant (Graduates & PGT/International)

Keele University – Directorate of Student Support & Success - Student Futures

Grade 7, Salary range £ 38,249 - £46,735 (Incremental progression)  

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a journey to help transform the Careers and Employability Service.

This is a new role, and the successful candidate will support graduates and our PGT/International communities, playing a pivotal role in the Student Futures team, which includes Careers and Employability, Global Opportunities and the Placements and Project teams, and is overseen by the Director of Student Futures. 

The successful candidate will need to understand the landscape of graduate outcomes and the synergies of PGT/International support. They will be accountable, responsible, in helping to identify, assess needs, delivering to these groups, generating new ideas, co-ordinating delivery & planning. This will feed into the overall Student Futures strategy, supporting the University’s ambition to ensure students can succeed within the graduate labour market.

There will be an expectation to fashion provision and build communities to the student journey to build insights, support development, provide access to opportunities pre & post-graduation through targeted interventions and the use of various stakeholder especially employers and alumni to build strong talent pipelines for future markets.

With the overarching purpose to advance the graduate prospects of our students, supporting their success taking the approach that by building a one Service approach across Student Futures we are best placed to achieve this.

Please note that the starting salary will typically be at the bottom of the pay scale shown above.
