To work closely with colleagues in Development and Alumni Engagement and across the selected Faculty/Dept, to build relationships with alumni that enable mutually beneficial relationships in support of the university strategy. 

Working with the Alumni and Supporter Engagement Manager for the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Medicine, the post holder will be responsible for planning and delivering a range of engagement activities across multiple channels, including direct mail, face to face meetings, online and digital communications and events.

About You

The postholder should have substantial experience of working in a fundraising, alumni engagement, marketing, communications, stakeholder engagement and/or events role. 

With experience of building relationships and developing communications for a complex organisation, with numerous clients and a wide range of stakeholders.

Experience of working in Higher Education would be an advantage, as would experience of working with international stakeholders.

The post holder should have the flexibility and proactivity to approach tasks and challenges.  Plus be adept at collaborative working and project management working alongside others both within the institution and externally.

An enthusiasm and willingness to be involved in Development and Alumni Engagement activities and as the team grows.
