Operations Manager

Warwick Business school at the University of Warwick have a career development for an Operations Manager in Finance for a period of 6 months. This is a full-time role, although part time of 80% or above would be possible.

This role requires significant financial management experience in a complex organisation together with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should have project management experience to enable you to develop and review the school’s financial processes and systems, which feed into the University’s financial systems.

You will ensure that systems operate in accordance with University Financial Regulations and procedures, and in particular that a high-quality service is provided to all internal and external stakeholders.

You will be responsible for managing and developing the finance processing team and training the whole of the WBS Finance team with regard to such systems and for overseeing their dissemination across WBS.

Experience within a similar role is essential along with a CCAB recognised qualification, Degree level of Education, Excellent Accounting software ability to include Excel. Experience within Higher Education is desirable but not essential.
