About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to join our successful payroll team. You will contribute and deliver accurate monthly payroll processes for multiple payrolls ensuring that HMRC and other statutory requirements are met.
The role will also support the University total reward strategy by assisting with communications and project implementation for new incentives.
This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
For this role, you will need to be on site 2 days a week. Although we can accommodate hybrid working, flexibility to be on-site will be expected depending on business needs.

What we’re looking for
This job would suit someone with experience of delivering payroll or finance in a fast paced and challenging environment.
You will have excellent payroll or finance administration skills and demonstrate self-leadership skills, motivated to achieve deadlines and have good working knowledge of Excel and Word. Experience of using a payroll or finance database is essential as well as capability to evaluate payroll data using analytical and logical reasoning.
You will be a good communicator who is passionate about delivering a high quality and effective customer service and be able to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative.
