- THE ROLE -
The postholder will be an impactful world-leading researcher in the field of biomedical science. They will lead and advance research and education within the School of Biomedical Sciences relevant to the areas of biomedical sciences, healthcare and informatics, nutrition, genomic medicine, drug discovery or optometry and vision research. The appointee will direct a programme of research in line with University and Faculty / School objectives and emerging growth deal initiatives such as the Centre for Food and Drug Discovery on the Coleraine campus.
- ABOUT YOU -
The postholder will be required to be:
- PhD in an area relevant to biomedical sciences.
- Completion of, or willingness to attain, a postgraduate teaching qualification or hold Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
- Participated in or have a willingness to participate in University Leadership and Management Programmes (or equivalent).
