The Finance Transformation Programme (FTP) is a £65m multi-year programme to modernise the University's finance capabilities, delivering new processes, technology and governance to provide the University with the financial insights and quality management information it needs to properly evaluate its financial sustainability and make informed strategic planning decisions. The programme supports the University's academic mission to maintain its status as one of the world's leading providers of education and research, while remaining competitive in a challenging sector.
The Role
This role is based in the University's Finance Division. Ensuring that the programme and its component projects deliver the benefits outlined in their business case within their respective cost budgets, this is a key programme role covering two aspects of the programme's management:
Analysis and management of the Programme's budget and costs:
You will work with programme and project managers to provide financial and qualitative analysis of the programme's finances, specifically:
Analysis and management of the Programme's benefits:
You will work with Workstream Leads and Business Analysts to identify and quantify the benefits that the programme will deliver, and will support stakeholders across the University to ensure that benefits are realised, specifically:

The University is supportive of hybrid working, where some work is undertaken on University premises and some in a remote working environment. The aim of our approach is to enable as many staff as possible to work in a hybrid way if they wish and where their role allows. This arrangement is subject to change and will not form a part of the contractual terms of the role.
Funding for this post is available for two years.
