Purpose of the Post
Supporting the experimental and simulation research work of the Department and fulfilling a varied range of tasks for research staff, with an evolution of tasks over time as fresh projects begin.
The role will enjoyable and challenging, with hands-on input to research projects ranging from robotics to circuit fabrication to software configuration. The post-holder will be expected to have relevant general experience, and training will be provided for the specific needs of the role.
The department has several research themes; the post-holder will have knowledge and experience relevant to at least one, possibly more of those themes.
