The opportunity
University of the Arts London is looking for a personable individual with retail experience to play a key role in the smooth running of a busy art and design shop.
As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the shop, helping to deliver an excellent customer service experience. This will involve:

About you
To succeed in this role, you will need previous experience of working in a busy retail environment, preferably in an art supplies, haberdashery, stationary store or similar.
In addition to this, you will have strong communication, organisational and teamwork skills, with the ability to provide a positive and responsive customer service. Strong organisational skills and the ability to use your initiative to resolve day-to-day problems will also be essential.
An interest in the arts is desirable, but not essential.
