The Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences is seeking to appoint a Clinical Skills Senior Technician to support the delivery of teaching practical classes in the Clinical Skills Centre across the department’s geographical sites.
About the role
You will play a key part in the organization and supervision of a small team of technical staff, reporting to the Clinical Skills Centre Manager and ensuring all practical classes are delivered on time and to a high standard for our academic staff and students. This is an active role and you will need to be supportive and flexible within the team with a high level of enthusiasm and willingness to learn new skills.
Primarily based at the University of Nottingham Medical School at Derby Royal Hospital, this role will require the flexibility to work across all geographical sites of the Clinical Skills Centre, both at Derby and Nottingham.
About you
You should have a working knowledge of Healthcare/Medical equipment and have significant experience in a relevant Healthcare/Clinical environment. Excellent organizational skills are essential.
