The opportunity
We have opportunities for two committed and motivated Library Assistants to join our friendly team at Camberwell College of Arts.
As a member of the Library Services team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of high quality and student-focused library services which support the academic activities of the University.
Working collaboratively, you will participate in both front-line and administrative duties. You will assist users with initial information enquiries in person and online using our live chat service ASK. This includes helping with the use of Library materials, dealing with account queries, and supporting students with general purpose software.

The roles involve working 21 hours per week.
Core hours at this site are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm. There will be flexibility to discuss days and times worked within core hours for the right candidates.
About you
We are looking for someone with a compassionate and student-centred approach.
You will have strong interpersonal and organisational skills, and the ability to communicate information and ideas clearly, in an inclusive manner.
You will possess relevant experience in a library or customer service environment, and formal training to post-16 level.
Excellent IT skills are essential, as well as the ability to work flexibly within a team, completing shared tasks, asking for and giving support as needed.
