About us

The School of Intelligence Science and Technology at Nanjing University is one of the first colleges established at the Suzhou campus. As artificial intelligence technology becomes a new factor of production and drives a new wave of the information technology revolution, the college adheres to Nanjing University's guidelines for equal standards and differentiated development across its campuses. Relying on the National Key Laboratory of New Software Technology at Nanjing University, the college actively builds and develops cutting-edge fields such as machine vision and pattern recognition, foundation models and generative AI, embodied intelligence and multi-agent systems, brain-inspired AI, and AI for Science. In alignment with the unique characteristics of the new engineering education at Nanjing University's Suzhou campus, the college emphasizes interdisciplinary integration, focusing on talent cultivation, key technology research and technology transfer in key industry sectors such as intelligent manufacturing, healthcare, and defense technology. Currently, the college has nearly 30 full-time faculty members and enrolls around 150 undergraduate students annually. It offers master's and doctoral degree programs in Computer Science and Technology and Electronic Information, supported by 33 full-time and part-time doctoral supervisors. The college has established the Research Center for Visual Computing and Intelligent Perception, and has collaboratively built the Nanjing University-China Mobile Joint Research Institute and the National Research Institute for Health and Medical Big Data.

Job description

Our college intends to recruit outstanding talents worldwide who are passionate about teaching and research in the field of intelligent science and technology. The position is open rank (professor, associate professor, assistant professor, postdoctoral researcher, or full-time researcher). The research areas can be one of the following:

  1. Visual Intelligence
  2. General Intelligence
  3. Brain-like Intelligence
  4. Embodied Intelligence Scientific Intelligence

Requirements

The ideal candidate should hold a Ph.D. degree in Intelligent Science and Technology or a related field, and have a demonstrated successful teaching and research record in universities, research institutions, or enterprises, ideally with minimum 3-year experience.
