Introduction to the Discipline
The discipline of Integrated Circuit Science and Engineering at Nanjing University holds the first batch of first-level doctoral programs in the field, approved by the government. There are more than 80 full-time faculties, including 2 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 11 recipients of the National Special Support Program for High-level Talents, and 20 recipients of the National Support Program for Young Top-notch Talents. In May 2021, it was approved to build the "National Integrated Circuit Industry-Education Integration Innovation Platform". In December 2021, this discipline was selected as the key discipline of Jiangsu Province during the "14th Five-Year Plan". In June 2022, it was approved for the establishment of the Jiangsu Provincial Integrated Circuit Advanced Process Engineering Technology Joint Laboratory, one of the first batch of approved institutions in Jiangsu Province. In December 2023, with the support of the Yachen Fund, Interdisciplinary Research Center for Future Intelligent Chips (Chip-X) of Nanjing University was approved for establishment.
Introduction to the School
The School of Integrated Circuits at Nanjing University is one of the first schools established on the Suzhou Campus of Nanjing University. It relies on the newly approved first-level interdisciplinary "Integrated Circuit Science and Engineering", which is based on Nanjing University's traditional leading disciplines such as Physics, Chemistry, Materials, Electronics, Information Science and other disciplinary groups, and is supported by the School of Electronic Science and Engineering in the initial stage. The School of Integrated Circuits at Nanjing University plans to recruit world-class leading talents and top-notch innovative talents in the field of integrated circuits. It is planned to recruit tenured professor, tenure-track/tenured associate professor or tenure-track assistant professor. The research area can be one of the following:
Requirements
The ideal candidate should hold a Ph.D. degree in Integrated Circuits or a related field, and have a demonstrated successful teaching and research record in universities, research institutions, or enterprises, ideally with minimum 3-year experience.
