Liverpool Hope University is looking for an experienced, resourceful and innovative individual with experience of working in the monitoring of and reporting on Apprenticeship provision.
The Apprenticeship Quality and Compliance Manager will have a thorough understanding of Degree Apprenticeships and will lead on the enhancement of the University’s policies and procedures underpinning Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) and the oversight of funding compliance for all of the University’s Apprenticeship programmes, in line with the requirements and expectations of the Education Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), the Office for Students (OfS) and Ofsted.
The post holder will work alongside the Director of Apprenticeships to design and implement quality improvement, assurance and compliance processes which support the onboarding, delivery, monitoring and accurate evaluation of apprenticeships, leading to successful and timely End Point Assessments.
The post holder will lead on assurance activities for both ESFA and Ofsted audit, producing reports that highlight the level of compliance and any risks to funding. The Apprenticeship Quality and Compliance Manager will develop new, and scale existing, standard operating procedures, ensure accurate and timely completion of the ILR return and maintain accurate evidence packs for all learners on-programme.
The Apprenticeship Quality and Compliance Manager will have a flexible approach to delivering in this role, as the nature of the role evolves from implementing a strong IQA framework, to establishing and leading activity around Quality and compliance of apprenticeships and integrated end point assessment. The role will require you to develop and deliver support and training to all colleagues involved in the delivery of Apprenticeships, developing their awareness, understanding and compliance knowledge. You will also therefore need to ensure you keep up to date with changes in requirements and developments in the sector.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage workloads. The ability to strategically scan and understand the developments and trends in the apprenticeship sector is essential. Applicants should have the ability to analyse complex information and come to considered judgements, as well as transferring this information effectively to reports, policy documents and committee papers.
The role will sit within the Degree Apprenticeship Hub Team on a daily basis but will work closely with the Registry team for purposes of creating independent end point assessments.
