The Faculty of Divinity of the University of Cambridge wishes to appoint a Research Associate at 0.5 FTE rom 1 April 2025 (or as soon as possible thereafter), to work on this collaborative, cross-institutional project entitled "God, Language and Diversity: Spiritual Flourishing in Neurodiverse and Multilingual Communities." The position is fixed term and the funds for this post are available until 31 August 2026 in the first instance.

Candidates, whose research specialism may be in the field of rabbinic texts and theology, should have a relevant PhD in the field, and will be expected to undertake research on the linguistic, conceptual, and theological dynamics of classical rabbinic midrash.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail, and hold a strong command of Rabbinic Hebrew.
