Tenure-Track Assistant Professor
Position Number: F01717-2024-189
The Department of Economics is seeking applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, commencing July 1, 2025 (negotiable) at the St. John’s campus. In exceptional cases, applicants may be considered for a position at the rank of Associate Professor.
The position is open to any field within economic science. The Department is interested in candidates with a specialization in public economics; environmental and natural resource economics; labour economics, demographic economics including the economics of minorities, races, Indigenous Peoples, and immigrants; economics of gender; welfare and inequality economics; financial economics; or international trade and finance. Preference may be given to applicants who possess strong potential for research and teaching in these fields. Duties shall include teaching at the undergraduate and Master’s levels in these areas, as well as other areas of specialty that the candidate might have and that are consistent with the teaching needs of the Department.
