We are looking to appoint a Specialist Study Support Tutor to provide specialist one-to-one/group study learning skills support and academic study skills tuition for students identified as needing additional academic learning support.
The postholder will deliver specialist 1:1 and group study support skills to students who have declared a specialist learning need either identified through a learning agreement or on the recommendation of academic staff. This includes students with specific learning differences; mental health concerns; autistic spectrum condition, dyslexia, long term health conditions and physical and sensory impairments. The support offered by the Academic Study Skills support team is student-centred and designed around individual academic needs.
The salary range for this professional role is £33,144 rising to £38,071 via annual increments, pro rata for part time staff. We offer 35 days’ holiday per annum plus Bank Holidays pro rata for part time staff, and access to our staff development programme.
