We are looking to recruit a Research Culture and Communications Officer to join the Impact and Culture function. Working across the Research, Innovation and Knowledge Exchange (RIKE) department, you will play a pivotal role in the university-wide service that we provide, offering a professional level of expertise to champion and positively enhance the research environment.
As Research Culture and Communications Officer, you will create clear ownership and accountability for the efficient running of cultural activity and the delivery of improvements to Research Culture across the university.
Working with the Research Impact and Culture Manager, you will take a lead and active approach in developing and maintaining positive relationships with a range of stakeholders, facilitating large-scale events, workshops and working groups, and will provide dedicated support to communicate and embed team initiatives and activities.
Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience, you will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and related software packages, have excellent planning, organisational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across a large, complex organisation.
You will also have experience in utilising multiple communication channels and platforms to increase audience awareness and engagement, and the ability to create, execute, and advise on integrated promotion and campaign plans.
We offer an excellent employment package including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on-campus working (dependent on work duties).
