We seek to appoint a new Vice-President of Teaching, Learning and Students to lead our education portfolio, enabling our students to reach their full potential. We also want to provide learners of all ages and backgrounds the chance to contribute to positive social change, improving their lives and those of others. We aim to deliver the highest levels of student satisfaction, embracing digital opportunities and placing personalisation at the heart of what we do.

Reporting to the President and Vice-Chancellor, this role is responsible for providing a clear vision for the teaching and learning goals of the University and for the enhancement of the student experience. The role will require working collaboratively with academic leaders in our three faculties and professional service colleagues across the University. This is a key post as a member of the University’s Executive Team. In joining, you will bring a deep understanding of the rapidly evolving higher education landscape, and a strong track record of delivering excellent education and steering positive change in a complex, high-performing university.  You will demonstrate high levels of emotional intelligence, a deep commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, to team working and inspirational leadership, as well as deep expertise in higher education - and especially innovation in education.  The new Vice-President will be an inspiring and values-led leader, able to build effective relationships across disciplines and deliver outstanding learning outcomes.
