Anglican Tutor for Admissions and Context-based Training

The Queen's Foundation for Ecumenical Theological Education – Anglican Team

Salary: Tutors are employed on the Lichfield Scale. The stipend for 2025-26 is £32,470. Accommodation is sometimes available on the campus, but if this is not suitable or available, then a housing allowance (currently £12,800) can be provided.

The Queen’s Foundation seeks a full-time tutor to join the Anglican Team and to take a lead in two key areas of work at an exciting time of development following the arrival of our new Principal, the Rt Revd Anne Hollinghurst.

  • Anglican Admissions – leading on the organisation of Open Days, engagement with Church of England dioceses, and the processes from application through to admission.
  • Context-based training pathways – supporting our small but growing number of students on these pathways (and their supervisors) and taking a lead in further development.

The subject teaching specialism applicants can offer is less important than a commitment to the formation of deacons and priests for the Church of England amidst the challenges and opportunities in ministry and mission today.

For further information go to the Queen’s Foundation website via the 'Apply' button above.

Closing date for applications is 12noon, Monday 10th March 2025.

Interviews are expected to take place on 26th March 2025.

Proposed start-date for the post is 1st August 2025.

Location: Birmingham
Salary: £32,470 + accommodation or housing allowance
Hours: Full Time
Contract Type: Permanent
Placed On: 19th February 2025
Closes: 10th March 2025
