About Us

DN Colleges Group is a major education provider in South Yorkshire, Greater Lincolnshire and the Humber Region, incorporating Doncaster College and North Lindsey College.

Every year, we inspire thousands of students to develop skills that will help them reach their full potential. We offer a wide range of further education, adult education and higher education choices, professional and technical qualifications, apprenticeships and bespoke courses, with a variety of full-time and part-time training options.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking Governors to bring their passion for education and training along with their expertise, skills and experience to contribute to the ongoing strategic success of the DN Colleges Group.

We are particularly seeking individuals with experience and expertise in any of the following areas: Higher Education, Law, Finance or Estates Management.

You are not required to have Governor experience as you will benefit from a well-supported induction and training programme. All we need is your experience and time. In return you will work with a great team of people and gain insight into a range of college aspects as well as the satisfaction of contributing to your local community.  The role of Governor provides the opportunity to develop skills in a strategic leadership role.

About the Role

As a member of the Corporation Board, you will support and shape our work and strategic direction, share a commitment to raising aspirations and realising students’ potential and achieving excellence.  The exceptional education and training we provide transforms the lives of our students.
