The University of St Andrews is seeking an experienced marketing professional to undertake the important role of Marketing Manager for its renowned School of Medicine. This unique position offers a distinctive opportunity to sculpt and steer the marketing and recruitment strategies for one of the UK's foremost Medical Schools.

Positioned at the strategic intersection of the School Medicine and Admissions, the role demands the formulation of sophisticated marketing collateral tailored precisely for our Medicine programmes. This position represents a two and a half -year fixed term contract within the Admissions Unit. The selected candidate will collaborate extensively with the School of Medicine, concentrating on the key objective of effectively promoting and recruiting to target for our Medicine programmes.

In this capacity, the Marketing Manager will harness and refine the innovative digital and data-driven approaches currently adopted by Admissions, ensuring enhanced recruitment efficiency and efficacy. A comprehensive understanding of the undergraduate medicine landscape within the UK will be desirable. Moreover, the ability to articulate the distinctive benefits of the three unique medicine programmes offered by St Andrews, ensuring their optimal market positioning, will be key to success.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in marketing, preferably within the higher education sector or analogous professional environments. The role requires a strong analytical mindset paired with creative problem-solving skills, proficiency in leveraging data to inform and shape campaigns, and an aptitude for collaborative engagements with a wide array of stakeholders.
