Do you have excellent written and editorial skills with experience in digital content and structuring content for websites?
The University’s Digital Communications team is looking for a digital content executive to work on Leeds.ac.uk and our student-facing website, For Students. These two websites serve two million users annually, and are critical tools for student recruitment and supporting students and postgraduate researchers during their time at Leeds.
You will be confident in writing and editing copy for different audiences and purposes, with knowledge of best practice for search engine optimisation and accessibility. You’ll also have experience working with a content management system (CMS). You’ll be comfortable working with complex information, liaising with subject matter experts to transform processes and technical information into user-friendly content.
You will be able to work independently or in a team, manage priorities and meet deadlines, and also collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues to shape content across these core websites. This role will offer training and development opportunities and is ideal for a content writer looking to broaden their experience and develop content design skills.
Please note that due to Home Office visa requirements, this role is not suitable for first-time Skilled Worker visa applicants. Information on other visa options is available at: www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration/work-visas
