Job description:
The Gene Therapy Innovation and Manufacturing Centre (GTIMC) at the University of Sheffield is a cutting-edge facility dedicated to advancing life-changing gene therapies. As part of our pioneering team, you will play a crucial role in managing materials within our GMP-compliant warehouse, ensuring the availability, quality, and regulatory compliance of raw materials for the production of clinical-grade gene therapy products.
GTIMC is one of three pioneering hubs in the UK developing and manufacturing new genetic treatment options for millions of patients with life-threatening diseases. The core of the centre will be an MHRA-licensed Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility manufacturing clinical grade Adeno-Associated Virus (AAV) products with all the vital quality assurance and regulatory certification for human trials at NHS hospital sites. As a brand-new manufacturing facility, we are exceptionally well-resourced, housing state-of-the-art equipment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced warehouse or logistics specialist with a background in regulated environments, ideally GMP. You will be responsible for inventory management, procurement coordination, and material movements on site, working closely with manufacturing and quality teams.
