Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Finance Team, at a time where we are looking to update and review systems in line with the expanding business objectives of the School.
You will be responsible for accurate and timely payment of both supplier invoices and employee expenses. The successful candidate will support the ‘Purchase to Pay’ process and, whilst championing adherence to process compliance, you will have the opportunity to be fully involved in the improvement of existing processes. The post-holder will be the primary contact for any queries on payables and receivables, so you should be confident liaising with non-financial staff.
You will also be responsible for the efficient and effective collection, monitoring of all fee income to the School.
Day-to-day line management will be provided by the Assistant Management Accountant, who reports to the Head of Finance.
The appointee will be educated to GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Mathematics and have a bookkeeping or accounts qualification (AAT or equivalent), or relevant experience. You should also have excellent IT skills (MS Office/Office 365) and proficiency in accounting software. Experience working in Further/ Higher education will be an advantage.
