Main duties and responsibilities
- Provide information to prospective students about the programs offered, admission process, eligibility, and fees.
- Ensure all home and international applications are processed in line with admission processes and procedures.
- Work closely with the Recruitment team to ensure applications are processed in a timely manner.
- Use professional judgment in reviewing a large range of academic transcripts from different backgrounds (using appropriate systems: ECCTIS, LRS) or work experience (checking the authenticity of the evidence provided)
- Maintain student records on central databases.
- Manage the interview (academic and non-academic) and English Language assessment bookings and the pre-enrolment process.
- Liaison with the senior team for sign-off/decision on the outcome of an application
- Issue conditional, unconditional offer, rejection, deferral, or withdrawal emails
- Work closely with the Admission Manager to identify and implement improvements to existing processes.
- Undertake additional duties or projects as the line manager may determine from time to time.
- Work flexibly as part of the enrolment team to provide integrated and responsive support during busy times (e.g.: start of term)
Principal Accountabilities
- To provide accurate course and student information as required by the College.
- Attend team meetings and contribute to Quality Assurance reviews and audits.
- Maintain confidentiality in relation to all college information and comply with General Data Protection Regulation.
- To be involved in college staff development and training schemes and participate in Personal Development Review procedures within the College.
- To adhere to the College's Equality and Diversity Scheme with respect to staff and students.
- To comply with and implement the College’s Health and Safety policy.
- To undertake any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as may be required.
