About Us:
We are a modern university based in the diverse city of Leeds. We are ambitious to further our work to promote and embed a culture of inclusion, ensure equity in opportunity and drive meaningful change within our workforce to create a university community that is a place where everyone feels respected, valued and supported to achieve excellence.
Equality, diversity, and inclusion is central to everything we do as an institution and community, and it is a core component embedded into our overarching university strategy, significantly through our people priorities to have an excellent, diverse, engaged community.
The role:
As the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead, you will play an integral role in supporting and embedding this agenda across the institution. You will work collaboratively to support and influence colleagues of all levels to realise the vision and successfully implement the identified priorities and activities at both an institutional and School/Service level. You will play a key role in providing advice, increasing engagement, and raising the profile of our workstreams, whilst also delivering a range of institutional initiatives. You will specifically support activity in relation to the student community and assist colleagues who directly engage with our student body.
