Cambridge Judge Business School (CJBS) is experiencing dynamic growth, expanding our staff, student body, and educational programmes. Our vibrant and diverse community includes approximately 1,400 IT users, ranging from teaching and research staff to administrative personnel, students, visiting academics, and Executive Education participants.
Our IT infrastructure is extensive and varied, featuring over 800 managed PCs and laptops, a fleet of multi-function printers, five fully digital lecture theatres, and 30 digital seminar/meeting rooms. Our community and numerous external VIPs and visitors utilise these facilities daily, both during and outside of the University's term time. We operate a hybrid infrastructure with the Microsoft technology stack and are continually developing and maintaining custom business applications tailored for Cambridge Judge.
About the role
As a Systems Developer, you will be at the forefront of creating custom software applications and supporting existing development projects. You will bring your expertise in current software development tools and techniques, including client and server-side development, multi-threaded code, RESTful APIs, and user interface design. Familiarity with database development is essential. Collaborating with our team, you will design and build scalable, resilient solutions where quality assurance, design standards, and reliability are paramount. This role encompasses the full software lifecycle, from initial design to development, testing, and deployment.
