The Role:
As a Deputy Managing Director at TLG, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring appropriate financial planning and structures, policies and procedures are in place to deliver the College strategy. A key focus area will also be on enhancing the student continuation and completion rates, along with fostering student engagement and development. Some of the key responsibilities would include:
Support the MD in the preparation of a corporate plan and annual business plan and monitor progress against these plans to ensure that the College attains its objectives as cost-effectively and efficiently as possible.
To oversee and support the Programme Leaders in order to facilitate all necessary academic and operational measures in ensuring a successful compliance with the respective regulatory bodies in all campuses in the UK. Relevance to OFS B3 metrics is to be applied.
To oversee the implementation of systems in the College to become more efficient and competitive.
Collaborating with programme leaders and other departments to develop measurable plans and initiatives for students’ retention and success.
To ensure that College assets are effectively managed, and the College estate is planned, developed and operated to produce the maximum benefit to the College.
Undertaking and implementing projects as required to support the smooth operations of the college.
Systematically analysing student performance data to ensure targets and key performances indicators (KPIs) are met.
Analyse and provide solutions to problematic situations to ensure the College thrives and grows.
Monitoring retention trends across departments and programmes, identifying opportunities for improvement and action.
