Position

The Marketing Executive will play a key role in promoting the London College of Contemporary Music (LCCM) to prospective students, stakeholders, and the broader music and education community. This individual will execute marketing campaigns, manage digital platforms, and ensure consistent branding to enhance LCCM’s visibility and reputation.

Marketing Campaigns:

  • Develop and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive student recruitment and engagement.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize strategies based on data insights and KPIs.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of campaigns.

Content Creation:

  • Create and manage engaging content for various platforms, including the website, blog, social media, and email newsletters.
  • Collaborate with academic, creative and event teams to showcase student achievements, events, and the unique LCCM experience.
  • Develop promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and videos that align with brand guidelines.

Digital Marketing:

  • Manage and maintain LCCM’s website, ensuring all content is up-to-date, accurate, and SEO-optimized.
  • Use analytics tools to track performance, identify trends, and report on digital marketing metrics.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Liaise with internal teams (production, sales, marketing) to align event marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with external partners and sponsors to enhance event exposure and branding.
  • Work closely with academic staff to develop initiatives to capture and integrate event content into LCCM’s curriculum resources.

Brand Management:

  • Ensure consistent application of LCCM’s branding across all channels and materials.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of promotion strategies across digital channels, including social media, email, and paid media.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management tools, email marketing software).
  • Knowledge of content production, including photography, videography, and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Proficiency in capturing, editing, and distributing high-quality visual and written content across digital platforms.
  • Skilled in live social media coverage during events (Instagram Stories, Twitter threads, etc.).
  • Understanding of social media platforms and trends (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) and their role in event promotion.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with event teams and external partners.
  • Understanding of how to engage event audiences before, during, and after events, including knowledge of user behaviour and digital marketing trends.
